Tips For Your New Airsign
Select The Right Power Setting For Carpet or Hardwood
You can set your power mode with the middle button on the vacuum. We absolutely recommend low or medium power for your carpets and rugs. Use high power for hard surfaces (hardwood, tile concrete). For upholstery, curtains and bedding we recommend low or medium power.
You can adjust the power even further by utilziing the slider on the handle, when it's open suction is lowered even further. Play around these features to find the best settings for your cleaning routine!
Switch Your Floorhead Button For The Right Surface
Make sure your floor-head button is switched to the right setting. Floor mode with bristles out is perfect for hardwood, tile, concrete and all other hard surfaces. Carpet mode (bristles in) is obviously for rugs, carpets and other soft surfaces. The Carpet mode maximizes suction on these types of surfaces to make sure you don't miss a thing, we also recommend switching to the medium or low power mode to ensure you have easy movement.
Vacuum Backwards For The Big Stuff
When it comes to large debris like, cheerios and big hairballs, vacuum backwards over these and slightly lift the floorhead up. Since the vacuum is designed to excel at capturing and filtering fine particles, a simple lift will obliterate these larger debris.
Close The Slider For The Most Suction
You'll find a sliding switch on the bottom of the handle, keep it closed for maximum suction. If you want, experiment with sliding it open for things that may need less suction like carpets, furniture, and curtains. This feature may also help when going over carpet, creating a little less suction to prevent the head from sticking to the pile of the carpet.
Use Our Storage Mode
For storage in closets, corners or anywhere you want to put your vacuum away, use the handy clip on the back of the canister, the head easily slots in for a vertical storage mode. Shorten the wand to lower the handle and then loop the hose around the handle.
For an even smaller storage solution, disassemble the unit (only takes about 20 seconds) and tuck the components away in a cabinet, under a bed, or on a shelf!
How To Go Low
Our wand can go pretty low for going under sofas, beds and more. When you need to get even more horizontal, turn the wand at an angle and then try it, you should be able to get completely flat!
Change your Bag At 70% Full
Our bags act as their own convenient filters. But if they get too full, you'll lose performance. We recommend changing the bag at roughly 70% full (or if you start to lose suction at any point) and putting in a new one. This also elongates the life of the vacuum cleaner, ensuring that the motor doesn't overwork for a prolonged period of time.
